Content Policy
Last updated
This page describes what happens to photos, screenshots, descriptions, and other content you submit through Ultimate Donations — and what we never do with it.
What you're granting us when you submit content
This covers everything you upload or submit through Ultimate Donations: photos, screenshots, written descriptions, donor-form questions, donation-record submissions, and reviews.
For everything you submit, you grant us a license to use it to operate the platform — storing it, showing it back to you, and processing it into the feature you used it for — and to improve matching and personalization quality across the platform.
For a smaller set of content, only where we say so at the moment you upload it (for example, donation photos or in-product reviews), you may also grant us a license for promotional display, credited to the event or organization it came from. This broader license is never blanket and never implied by a general terms-of-service acceptance — the disclosure happens at the point of upload, every time.
What we never do with your content
- We never sell your personal data to third parties.
- We never publish a private upload — one not offered for promotional display — outside the organization that submitted it.
- We never misrepresent your content: we don't alter the substance of a review, and we never present fabricated or sample content as real.
Community-shared data
Some content is contributed for the shared benefit of other organizations — for example, donor information you bring with you, or form-question library contributions. That content is shared with other organizations only when you make an explicit checkbox choice at the point of contribution. It is never a default, and never a buried settings toggle.
Content processed with the help of AI
We process content you provide with the help of AI to personalize your materials. This line appears near every place in the product where it applies.
Content we don't allow
- Content you don't have the rights to submit.
- Content that misrepresents a real person, organization, or transaction as something it isn't — including fabricated records, fake reviews, or fake donor claims.
- Unlawful, harassing, or hateful content.
- Personal data about someone else, submitted without their knowledge, where their consent would ordinarily be expected.
This list isn't exhaustive — it describes the kinds of content that aren't welcome here, not every possible case.
Takedown requests
If you believe content on Ultimate Donations should come down, contact us through your account's support option, or through the general contact channel listed on our site. We aim to respond promptly and will keep you posted on where a request stands.
Policy updates (pending integration)
This content policy is one part of a larger policy update. Related additions covering credits, free-plan allowances, plan changes, and account suspension belong on our Terms and Conditions page, and additions covering uploaded-content categories, AI processing, and email-engagement tracking belong on our Privacy and Security page. Those two pages are maintained separately from this codebase and are not updated by this page shipping — see the build report for what still needs to happen there.
