Does Green Bay Packers donate to fundraisers?

The Packers donate items primarily for use in raffles and auctions.

Community Outreach staff weigh where the organization is and who benefits, and the organization's 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.

Not eligible: organizations or fundraising that do not benefit residents of Wisconsin, Upper Michigan or Iowa, and requests submitted less than six weeks before the event.

Also not eligible: requests for specific items or specific autographs, and autographs on personal items (which are returned unsigned).

Events where fundraising is not part of the event, or where it does not support a charitable organization or cause, are not eligible.

Tips from the program page: Requests confirmed through the old online process before the portal change are still being processed and do not need to be resubmitted. · The old post-event evaluation link no longer works. To report results, email the Packers donations team with the event name, date, item donated and the amount it raised.

How to apply

Green Bay Packers asks every request to include the following.

• Submit your request with documentation explaining the fundraising event at least six weeks before the event. The online applicant portal is the preferred route.
• Since July 2026 the Packers use a new GrantsConnect applicant portal. Create a GrantsConnect account, or sign in with a GrantsConnect or Blackbaud ID you already use.

What Green Bay Packers will not fund

Green Bay Packers states in its own published guidelines that it will not fund the following.

• Requests for specific items or specific autographs
• Autographs on personal items
• On-field or pre-game passes
• Lambeau Field tours
• Events where fundraising is not part of the event or does not support a charitable organization or cause

When to ask

Green Bay Packers states a lead time of 6 weeks. Count back that far from your event date and send the request no later than then.

Across more than 25,000 fundraising events in our own records over fifteen years, March, April and May are the busiest months for fundraisers, October is the next busiest, and July and December are the quietest.

Work backwards from your event rather than forwards from today, and if your event falls in the spring peak, ask earlier than the stated lead time rather than later.
