Does Just Born Inc. donate to fundraisers?

Just Born supports community organizations and events by providing candy donations to eligible causes; it cannot fulfill every application.

Candy donations generally go to registered nonprofit organizations in the Lehigh Valley (Lehigh and Northampton Counties, PA) and within a 10-mile radius, in Pennsylvania, of its GOLDENBERG'S PEANUT CHEWS factory in Northeast Philadelphia.

Recognized support channels for U.S. military personnel are also eligible; those requests must come through Unit Commanders, Family Readiness Groups, or Veterans Affairs representatives.

Just Born generally does not donate to fraternal or social clubs and programs (such as Rotary, Lions Club or Kiwanis), programs or events directly benefiting churches or religious programs, contributions directly benefiting individuals, or political organizations or events.

Because of the volume of parade requests, it supports only one organization per local parade, first-come, first-served.

Just Born does not grant donations to organizations that discriminate on the bases listed in its policy.

Tips from the program page: If approved, Just Born contacts you about 3 weeks before your event to arrange a pick-up date and time, so plan to collect the candy in person. · Just Born does not provide status updates on pending requests, so do not wait on a reply before planning other prizes. · Parade organizers should apply early, since only one organization per local parade is supported.
