Six Flags parks, including Knott's Berry Farm, donate admission for charitable organizations and fundraising events through one online application on the Six Flags Charities page.

The request program opens in the first quarter of each year and stays available until that year's donated admission is all distributed, so it can close mid-year.

Subject to availability, a park may provide 2 to 4 admissions per request; the maximum is four per request, and only one request per organization is accepted in a 12-month period.

Six Flags does not donate cash or checks, food, merchandise or Season Passes through this program, and donated admission may not be marketed or resold except at approved charity fundraisers.

Only requests submitted through the online application are reviewed; requests by email, mail, phone or the Contact Us form are not.

Not eligible: groups that discriminate; for-profits; individuals or families; wedding fundraisers; religious groups; political parties; fundraising for out-of-country initiatives; after-prom or grad nights; staff rewards; equipment fundraisers for for-profit or government-funded groups (schools excepted); competitions, recognition events, door prizes, giveaways or free raffles; and groups raising funds for another group.

Tips from the program page: Requests now go through the Six Flags Charities application, not a separate Knott's process; email or phone requests are not reviewed. · Ask for single-day admission rather than Season Passes, which the program does not donate. · Check the Six Flags Charities page to confirm requests are open, and apply early in the year.
