Tips from the program page: Oslo's coffee shops are in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and in Manhattan's Yorkville and West Village neighborhoods, so it is a natural ask for events in or near those communities. · Apply well ahead of the two-week minimum, since Oslo says it receives more requests than it can process. · If you do not hear back, plan an alternative item for your auction or raffle; the page warns that some requests cannot be helped.

• Submit the online donation application form on Oslo Coffee's Donation Requests page; that form is the stated way to apply.
• Allow at least two weeks between your application and the date you need the donation.

Across more than 25,000 fundraising events in our own records over fifteen years, March, April and May are the busiest months for fundraisers, October is the next busiest, and July and December are the quietest.

Work backwards from your event rather than forwards from today, and if your event falls in the spring peak, ask earlier than the stated lead time rather than later.
