Does Puttshack donate to fundraisers?

Each year Puttshack venues donate a select number of Puttshack parties to fundraising efforts such as silent auctions and galas.

Selection depends on venue availability and discretion, with a preference for local community ties; not all requests can be accommodated.

Successful partners usually fall into education, military, golf, health and wellness, animals, or disaster relief.

Puttshack also offers a gift card fundraiser: organizations sell $25 gift cards for $20 and Puttshack gives $5 per card sold.

Tips from the program page: If selected you receive a confirmation email with next steps; the page says to follow up by email if you hear nothing within a week. · Plan your logo placement in event materials in advance, since publicly naming Puttshack as the donor is a condition of the donation.

What Puttshack donates

Puttshack has typically donated: "Piece of the Putt" (20% of 9-hole game sales), "Request a Donation" (party packages donated to select fundraising events annually), and "Gift Card Fundraiser" ($5 per $25 gift card sold); also a portion of churro sales to local partners.

Who can apply

Puttshack limits donation requests by area: Within 40 miles of a Puttshack venue.

How to apply

Puttshack asks every request to include the following.

• The event or organization must be within 40 miles of a Puttshack location.
• The request must be submitted between 30 and 90 days before the event date.
• The event should reach a large local or national audience and serve the greater good.
• Individuals are not eligible, and politically motivated groups generally are not.
• You agree to publicly name Puttshack as the donor and use its logo in promotional materials.
