Does SCHEELS donate to fundraisers?

Only requests local to the store you select on the form are considered.

Requests sent to multiple store locations, or to stores far from the requesting organization, are deleted.

Requests must be submitted at least one month before the date the donation is needed.

Only the stores listed on the form accept online requests. For a location not on the list, contact that store directly.

The form asks what the request is for, with options including organizational funding, a fundraiser auction, a door prize, or a team discount.

The form lists organization types of sports, non-profit, benefit, school, and other.

Tips from the program page: Send one request, to the single store nearest your organization. Duplicate requests to several stores are deleted. · For a specific event, include the event date and a link to the event website or your organization's social media in the description. · Allow at least one month: the form notes that is the minimum time needed to process a request.

Who can apply

SCHEELS limits donation requests by area: Local to one of the SCHEELS stores listed on its donations page.

How to apply

SCHEELS asks every request to include the following.

• Your organization's name, address, and a contact person.
• A short description of what your organization does (300 characters or fewer).
• Whether your organization has 501(c)(3) status. The form asks the question; the page does not say 501(c)(3) status is required.
• Whether you have requested a donation from this store before.
• The date you need the donation, and how many people it will impact.
• A description of how the donation will be used (500 characters or fewer).
• A current W9, if your request is approved.
