Bacardi USA supports organizations and events that improve quality of life in its home Miami community and in communities around the country where it does business.
Requests must fall under one of five categories: health and social services, higher education, arts and culture, environmental and conservation, or heritage.
Where legal, support can be an in-kind or cash contribution, auction or raffle items, or employee involvement.
A committee reviews each request. Events must offer product sampling, fit Bacardi's corporate and brand strategies, reach its desired consumer audience, and all benefits must be permitted under applicable law.
Bacardi USA does not support individuals, personal exhibits or performances, athletic clubs, private or advocacy groups, political or religious contributions, or organizations that discriminate.
Each organization is limited to one approved donation or event per year.
Tips from the program page: Bacardi USA says it can support only a small portion of the requests it receives, and often turns down applicants who fit its guidelines. · All communication about a request is by email.
