Does Boston Red Sox donate to fundraisers?

Donations are limited to organizations operating in the six-state New England region (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT).

Donations are in the form of autographed memorabilia only; tickets are not offered as charitable donations.

An organization can receive only one donated item per year, and must not have already received a donation that same calendar year.

Personal items should not be sent in, as the front office cannot help fans get autographs for personal or charitable purposes.

To apply, Boston Red Sox asks for: All donation requests must be submitted online via the Boston Red Sox Donation Request Form. · The online form must be filled out completely for the request to be considered. · Requests must be received at least eight (8) weeks prior to the event date. · Organizations that receive an item must complete an online reply form after the event, stating the amount the item raised, to be considered for future requests.

Tips from the program page: Donation requests are fulfilled based on event date, not the order requests were submitted. · Items are typically sent out 4-6 weeks prior to the event date. · No follow-up calls are made on individual requests; if an item hasn't arrived within a week of the event, contact the Community Relations Department at 617-226-6717. · Donation authenticity can be checked via the MLB Authentication site.
