Compiled from Lowes' published guidelines, other public sources, and user reports. How we research these pages
Lowe's own site does not describe a product or gift-card donation program for event fundraisers. Lowe's gives through Community Impact Grants: anyone can nominate a local nonprofit, school or city's community space for renovation during a yearly nomination window, and the project must be within 30 miles of a Lowe's store.

Lowe's Community Impact Grants pay for the physical improvement or renovation of a community space, such as a food pantry, park, local firehouse or a place for veterans to gather.
Grants go to a local nonprofit, school or city/municipality that is willing and able to take on the project.
Lowe's only selects projects within 30 miles of a Lowe's store, so it can supply materials and volunteer support.
Lowe's selects up to 100 grant projects a year in a program that runs each year from 2022 through 2026; grant funds can cover labor, permits, professional services and materials.
Nominations are reviewed on community impact and need, the type of space, feasibility and lasting benefit.
Religious organizations are eligible only if the renovated space serves all members of the community without discrimination.
The Lowe's Foundation's Gable Grants fund skilled trades training at community and technical colleges and nonprofits, not school fundraisers; high school and K-12 career and technical education programs cannot apply.
Tips from the program page: Nominating the same project more than once does not improve its chances. · Finalists are contacted directly during the summer selection process, and recipients are announced on the Lowe's Newsroom. · For Gable Grants, email, fax and late applications are not accepted.
