Does Utz donate to fundraisers?

Requests go through the Donation Request Form on the Utz snacks website, listed under Customer Care.

The form offers two donation types: monetary donation or product donation.

The form asks whether your organization is a 501(c)(3), with a yes or no answer.

You can attach files in JPG, JPEG, PNG or PDF format.

Utz donates to organizations with 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Utz does not donate to individuals. Utz does not support events run for profit.

How to apply

Utz asks every request to include the following.

• Your name, email and phone number.
• The donation type, your 501(c)(3) status and a donation mission statement.
• Your organization's name; the form also asks for its address and the event date.
• A subject and a message describing your request.

When to ask

Utz states a lead time of 3 weeks. Count back that far from your event date and send the request no later than then.

Across more than 25,000 fundraising events in our own records over fifteen years, March, April and May are the busiest months for fundraisers, October is the next busiest, and July and December are the quietest.

Work backwards from your event rather than forwards from today, and if your event falls in the spring peak, ask earlier than the stated lead time rather than later.
