Argosy Cruises' community giving focuses on three areas: inclusion (organizations helping underrepresented communities in the maritime industry), youth (maritime education and recreation programs), and preservation of the Greater Seattle waterfront marine environment.
Organizations must qualify for nonprofit status under the Internal Revenue Code and benefit the local community; causes outside Argosy's local business region are not supported.
Argosy cannot support social, labor union, alumni, trade, fraternal or political organizations; private foundations; or schools without 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
Faith-based organizations or religious programs that do not serve the broader public, or whose principal purpose is promoting a particular faith, are not supported, nor are organizations whose activities run counter to Argosy's values and policies.
Tips from the program page: When this page was checked, Argosy's online request form was temporarily unavailable while current submissions were reviewed; check the Community Giving page for when it reopens, or send a request on letterhead.
