Does Universal Orlando donate to fundraisers?

Universal Orlando primarily donates theme park admission to qualified nonprofits that educate young people, strengthen the community and fit its focus areas.

The program is open only to eligible nonprofits located in Florida, and preference goes to nonprofits based in Central Florida.

Donated park admission may be used only for charitable fundraising, must be given directly to the charity, and may not be marketed or resold.

Universal Orlando does not donate hotel stays, and it does not review requests for corporate partnerships.

Requests for group visits, competitions, staff appreciation, holiday parties, incentives or class celebrations are not eligible.

How to apply

Universal Orlando asks every request to include the following.

• Apply through Universal Orlando's online application, linked from the Donation Request tab of its Community Relations page, at least 60 days before the event date.
• Your organization must be a 501(c)(3) located in Florida, or a public school or school district.
• Your organization must have a two-year operating history, be in good standing, and serve the community without discrimination.
• As standard practice, Universal Orlando considers only one request per organization per calendar year.

Across more than 25,000 fundraising events in our own records over fifteen years, March, April and May are the busiest months for fundraisers, October is the next busiest, and July and December are the quietest.

Work backwards from your event rather than forwards from today, and if your event falls in the spring peak, ask earlier than the stated lead time rather than later.
