Children companies that donate to fundraisers
3 companies in our children category have product donation programs for schools, nonprofits, and community fundraisers. Each listing explains what they give and how to apply.
Children's companies in this directory give art supplies, their own party and craft products, and sometimes cash, mostly to nonprofits and schools that serve children, and each asks for an online request with proof of nonprofit status well before your event.
Crayola donates products only to 501(c)(3) organizations in the two eastern Pennsylvania counties around its home base and one neighboring town across the river in New Jersey, whose projects serve children in the arts, education, health and welfare or civic areas. Requests go through its online form at any time of year, at least four to six weeks before you need the product, and recipients agree not to resell it, except for items donated specifically for an auction.
Oriental Trading Company gives cash and/or its own products to 501(c)(3) organizations and to public schools, colleges and universities, with an emphasis on improving the lives of children and youth. Apply through its online form with your 501(c)(3) determination letter or proof of tax-exempt status attached, and allow four weeks: requests with event dates inside that processing window are not considered.
Vermont Teddy Bear's page offers forms for corporate gift orders and manufacturing inquiries but does not say the company donates to community organizations, so do not count on it for a raffle prize. If your group is outside Crayola's area, start with Oriental Trading Company and name the children's program your request supports.
